Thank you to all our wonderful sponsors in our community for their generous donations
Four Square Raglan
Thank you again to the Bains Family from Four Square Raglan for funding the stationery needs of our Kura Teina Y0-6 students. This is the second year and we are honoured to receive this kind donation again. It helps to take the burden off our families’ and the schools’ back-to-school costs.
R Pegden & L O’Connor whānau
We received a gift of an electric guitar, small amp and guitar and music stands from this whānau. They have recently joined our community and gifted the musical resources from their children who have grown and moved onto other musical endeavours. Our Music tutor, Viv Regnier met with mum, Robyn Pegden, to accept the generous gift.
Raglan Community House, Raglan Naturally, Whaingaroa Ara Taiohi
Our young people of Whaingaroa were celebrated in May this year at Papahua and we give thanks to the above entities for the generous funding we received to host this amazing youth week event.
Raglan Food Company
Huge thanks to Raglan Food Company for providing a grant to buy Bike Racks for our school. A big mihi to Sasha Kroon & Hayley Vink from Wainui Environmental for seeing the opportunity and assisting the school with the application.
Raglan Medical Centre
A massive thank you to Raglan Medical Centre who gifted seven sets of tramping gear for students to borrow when they take part in our Outdoor Education adventure. We have used this gear for recent trips to Pirongia and the Pinnacles.
Rangitahi Project
Thank you so much for the construction of a two-tiered adventure sandpit and toys for our newly refurbished new entrants area at the front of the school. It is a wonderful addition and is being used all the time by our littlies.
Stendy Electrical
Jeff Hiscock and his team has generously donated funds to the school over the last couple of years. Last year purchased professional drama theatre lights and this year it helped our Digital Technology class purchase and set up 2 Digital Audio Workstations providing opportunities for our students to DJ and create and produce their own music.
Te Uku Community Fund – Meridian Energy
This local community fund has helped our school and many others with their grants. Their grant got us started with Digital Audio Hardware and Software for our Digitech and Music students.
Craigs Investments Hamilton
Many thanks to Fraser Pease and the Investment Adviser team at Craig’s for their kind donation to assist our Outdoor Education programme with much needed resources and equipment. This is a new NCEA programme at the school that started last year and is gaining popularity with students and staff alike. We look forward to your continued support.
Ngā mihi. Whaea Louisa Barham
(Tumuaki / Principal)
