Kia ora koutou
As well as the Post Primary Teachers Association (PPTA) announcing their strike, the New Zealand Educational Institute (NZEI) (of which our Years 0-6 Kura Teina Teachers are members) have ALSO announced a nationwide strike on Thursday 16th March 2023.
As a result, there will be no classes held on that day at Raglan Area School for any students. Please note that the school buses will not run on this day. Support Staff will be on site and the office will be open as usual.
We understand that this may cause inconvenience but please note that the selection of this date is not made by the schools. We are grateful that the 2 unions have chosen the same day for this strike action which we hope will enable parents to respond more easily with regards to childcare.
