Dear Parents, Whanau
Wow! So much has been happening over the last couple of weeks. Many parents have already been informed of the recent classroom changes due to our increased roll growth. We are very pleased to welcome Whaea Jane and Whaea Rebecca to our team.
Whaea Jane is teaching New Entrant/Year 1 class in D2, and Whaea Rebecca will be teaching D1 for one day a week, till the end of the year. Whaea Alison and Charlotte’s class are now in E1, to accommodate the new class.
Several new families have also joined our school this term, we welcome them and hope they settle into the Raglan Community.
This week is the beginning of September and as the weather improves students are taking off various clothing during playtimes and forgetting to pick them up, a lot of unclaimed garments have arrived in the school lost property. Please help by checking that your child’s clothing is named.
A great big thankyou to all those parents who supported D Block’s “Cupcake Fundraiser Event”, baking and decorating the cakes. A grand total of $330 was raised for SPCA.
A super idea from Whaea Kim and D4!
Congratulations go to the following entrants of the recent Word Café Writing Competition:
Year 5 Winner Aria Mc Lachlan
Year 4 Winner Iemaja Hassell
