Year 0-8 Cross Country – Friday 11th August 2023

We invite you to support our tamariki at the 2023 Year 0-8 Cross Country Races on Friday 11th August 2023. If the weather is not suitable on the day, the postponement day is Thursday 17th August 2023. 

We would like all students to wear clothes appropriate to the occasion and the weather for health and safety reasons, including a hat, and a warm jersey/ jumper. Students will be participating as part of their House group and may want to dress up in their respective house colours (Ngarunui – purple, Waikeri – green, Te Kopua – pink and Opotoru – yellow) to support the event. Footwear is optional but recommended as there might be prickles or small stones on some parts of the course. Students need to have a full, named water bottle (water only) for rehydrating after their races. These will be kept near the finishing line.

First and second place-getters will be invited to represent our school at the Western Cluster Cross Country Races at Waitetuna on Thursday 31 August 2023.  (Third and fourth place getters will be backups.)
